I am currently in love with with Lykke Li. Homeward Bound

Just a quick post on this hurried friday of mine. You all might think this is the lamest thing but I have these amazing memories from when I was young of me and my family driving 7 hours down from Northumberland to my grandma's in London, and me and my 2 sisters would be squashed up together in the back seat of the car, and we'd listen to Simon & Garfunkel over and over. This song is ironic as I am travelling home this weekend and will be leaving my term-time home in Southampton in a few weeks.  I firmly believe every household should have abit of S & G stashed away!

As I was researching my next article on top stylists for Running In Heels magazine, I came across this old editorial from Vogue Paris. Maybe I love it so much because it features one of my favourite models, and maybe it's because of the white blazers (which I'm currently hunting for), maybe it's the short wig (which I'm currently lusting after) but mostly it's gotta be the PERFECT styling. The clothes actually FIT in the editorial without being over powering, and dance a fine line between high fashion and commercial. Simple perfection. Have a listen to this Grizzly Bear remix of Feist's 'My Moon, My Man' while you look!

Kate Moss for Longchamp

Kate Moss's collaboration with Longchamp is still going strong and this video, for the S/S '11 collection presumably, titled 'Faraway' and shot in a beautiful vintage style, shows Kate on holiday relaxing and acting every inch the bohemian rock n' roll muse. The film is totally indoctrinating with its vivid summery colours, hippie music and glamourous locations. So much so that it has sparked an intense desire in me to get outside and dance around like a crazy woman lost in the moment! Let's get out there and enjoy the sun while it lasts!

Wedding Post!

So most of the preparations for the big day in August are sorted and/or underway and I've been wistfully browsing wedding blogs for more inspiration on little details like table flowers and shoes etc. I came across this wedding on the Project Wedding blog and it looks so beautiful I feel fully inspired and reinvigorated to make my big day the best ever! Their wedding looks incredible; set in wine country California, the couple even had a ferris wheel for guests to ride! Go to the Project Wedding blog and enjoy watching the video highlights at the bottom of the post but I warn you, I did well up abit at times so if your prone to being abit weepy, brace yourself and get a tissue at the ready!

Music Muse

I absolutely love Lissie!! She's my current musical muse and reminds alot of Chan Marshall aka Cat Power. Seems to be alot of talented female singer/songwriters cropping up over the last few years, British and American. Man, what is it with me and American artists? Missoni S/S 11 Campaign

What a great campaign video! I love that they've got the whole Missoni clan in there, along with other fashion industry greats such as the unstoppable mother/daughter duo Charlotte and Andrea Dellal. To be honest I didn't really like the collection when it first hit the catwalk but I think the video compliments the collection so well I've come around to it. Bravo!
